ProVisionaire Design is a software application for Windows operating systems that allows comprehensive, intuitive design of sound systems that enable centralized management of systems composed of multiple devices. It is compatible with a wide range of Yamaha pro-audio products.

ProVisionaire Design facilitates sound system design and setup by allowing flexible component layout, signal routing, and parameter editing in open-architecture processors such as the DME series and MRX7-D. ProVisionaire supports a wide range of high-quality audio components via the UI. ProVisionaire Design can be used in conjunction with the ProVisionaire Control software application, which comprehensively controls every project from system design and setup to daily operation and management. Assigning ProVisionaire Design parameters to ProVisionaire Control PLUS allows for easy creation of custom control panels. It can be create custom control panels with drag-and-drop functionality. Based on the common logic of the ProVisionaire series, it provides a seamless workflow.

DME5/3 conductor component

Conductor is a new component featuring DME5/DME3 and running ProVisionaire Design V3.0 or later. DME5/DME3 functions as the system's conductor, enabling centralized configuration of all devices within the system via Provisionaire Design. Previously, destinations and commands had to be individually assembled for each Yamaha device. The Conductor function now allows unified configuration via drag-and-drop within ProVisionaire Design.

Audio configuration

Open-architecture signal processors like DME feature a wide array of freely configurable Audio Components. Within PVD's Device Sheet, you can intuitively build audio flows tailored to your system requirements.

The following are representative components included in ProVisionaire. Other basic components such as combiners, delays, dynamics, effects, EQ, routers, source selectors, and advanced components like Comp260 and DCA can also be configured.

Control configuration

By using control components, you can recall parameters in sequence based on simple logic principles governed by statements such as AND, OR, COMPARE. It can be used to describe a wide range of complex relationships in a process by wiring control component and audio component. The logic function enables more complex control designs that go beyond just GPI control, allowing us to meet the detailed requirements of our users.

Offline Simulation (supports DME series)

- Audio routing for logic control setups created offline can be checked and tested without the need to actually have any devices connected.

Probe Monitoring (supports DME series)

- Two probe monitoring points can be defined.

- The signals from the two probe monitor points can be assigned to different output channels and monitored independently.

- Advanced applications of two probe monitor points to check the correlation between the processor input signal and direct microphone signal.
