Statement about your relation with Yamaha or your instrument:
Yamaha instruments are not just tools to me — they are my closest listeners. Through every sound, they respond with honesty, clarity, and warmth. Yamaha gives me the feeling that the instrument is breathing with me. It allows my emotions, experiences, and stories to become music.
How does your instrument help you in your daily life as an artist?
My instrument keeps me grounded and connected to who I am. When I practice or perform, it reflects my state of mind — whether I am calm, excited, or uncertain. It reminds me to stay sincere, to listen deeply, and to always speak through sound instead of words.
How would you characterise your instrument?
Responsive. Transparent. Trustworthy. It has a voice that is powerful yet subtle — capable of intimacy and impact. When I play, it feels like the instrument understands me before I even strike the first note.
Who was your most influential teacher and is there any advice which you still follow?
Jean Geoffroy and Marta Klimasara have been the two most influential professors in my musical journey.Jean taught me to search for meaning behind every sound, beyond what is written on the score. Marta showed me how to feel and touch the instruments with sincerity and passion. Their teaching remains with me: be sincere with every sound.
Advice for a young musician:
Technique plays the notes, becoming the music speaks the truth. So don’t just perform music, Become the music itself.
